在高能燃料方面,提出“高能碳氢燃料分子工程”概念,以“创新燃料分子结构、精细调控燃料分子组成”为核心,建立了新型燃料分子设计及合成方法,创制了燃料合成高效催化剂,建立了燃料合成过程耦合强化方法,形成了新型高能碳氢燃料规模化生产技术,在航天航空领域大量应用。在氢能源方面,发展过渡金属催化剂电子自旋态调控方法,揭示电子自旋填充状态影响反应物分子及中间物种的吸附/脱附动力学机制;提出兼具团簇和单原子优点的单原子对催化剂,强化氢气、氧气等小分子活化,开发了低成本高活性水分解、氢燃料电池、化学储氢及释氢催化剂及工艺,完成示范应用。获得国家自然科学二等奖(第三完成人)、化工学会基础研究成果一等奖、化工学会侯德榜科工科技创新奖、石化联合会青年科技突出贡献奖,入选科睿唯安和爱思唯尔高被引学者。
